ASHLEY J. MCDONALD
Ashley assists businesses and individuals with a broad range of issues, including commercial litigation, contracts, real estate, construction defect, creditor-debtor matters, and forming and maintaining business entities. Ashley's ability to see business transactions and disputes from various angles allows her to educate her clients about strategies to avoid problems and to guide her clients through the process of identifying effective, efficient solutions should the need arise.
While attending law school at Lewis & Clark, Ashley argued and prevailed before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, interned with a commercial law firm in New Delhi, India, and interned with in-house counsel of a local financial services and asset management company. As a result of Ashley's academic achievements, she was named the Oregon State Bar Business Section's Outstanding Corporate Law Student in 2015, awarded the Bates Family Scholarship for Business Law, and inducted into the Cornelius Honor Society.
