SETH “MOE” TANGMAN
Moe focuses his practice on representing businesses and individuals in complex commercial and corporate litigation. Moe seeks to save time and money by finding business solutions to litigation.
Prior to joining Slinde Nelson, Moe practiced at an elite corporate litigation firm in Wilmington, Delaware. In that role he litigated cases arising under the Delaware General Corporation Law including stockholder class & derivative actions, busted-deal litigation, and statutory summary proceedings. Moe's fluency with Delaware corporate law makes him a uniquely valuable resource for any business client-from directors & officers to start-ups & Fortune 500 companies.
While in law school, Moe clerked for the Special Litigation Unit of the Oregon Department of Justice working on high-profile cases and novel constitutional issues. Moe also spent nearly three-years in the University of Michigan Unemployment Insurance Clinic, where he litigated dozens of unemployment benefit cases and assisted a bipartisan workgroup to draft, lobby, and unanimously pass Michigan House Bills 5165-5172. That legislation reformed the Michigan Employment Security Act to reduce civil fraud penalties and prohibit "Robo-Fraud," among other reforms.
Moe is an avid Portland Trail Blazers and Michigan Wolverines fan. In his free time, Moe enjoys riding his bicycle around Portland in search of new restaurants.
