Shelly Galbreth
Office Manager / Paralegal
Shelly joined Slinde Nelson in 2009 as our legal assistant/paralegal, bringing with her a diverse legal background. Through the years her role has changed and she is now the firm’s Office Manager. She is charged with running the day-to-day administrative operations and procedures of the firm, overseeing staff, accounts payable and accounts receivable. She also serves as Nick Slinde’s personal administrative assistant. When Shelly is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters traveling and helping others.

Selma Williams
Litigation and Transactions Paralegal
Selma is a valuable team player who started her career working for the King County District Court, then moving on to the private sector and joining our firm in 2013. With twenty-five (25) years’ experience in the legal field, Selma is a Senior Paralegal and a strong contributor who supports our attorneys in complex litigation. She conducts factual investigations and interviews, collects and manages electronic and documentary evidence, prepares for depositions and trials, develops graphics and so much more. Selma focuses on complex litigation matters, including breach of contract, unfair competition, trade secrets, and securities fraud to name a few. Selma also supports the firm’s transactional department, providing assistance with entity formation and maintenance. Selma continues to expand her knowledge and experience through research and seminars. In her previous paralegal roles, Selma gained experience in litigation matters involving employment law, domestic relations, criminal, collection, immigration, and insurance defense.
Selma’s passions are spending time with family, reading, gaming, snowboarding, and volunteer work.

RaeAnne Weed
Receptionist
RaeAnne joined Slinde Nelson in summer of 2011. When RaeAnne is not greeting clients and visitors she enjoys going to concerts and spending time with family and friends.

Jessica Hake
Paralegal / Project Assistant
Jessica Joined the SN team in 2016 after graduating from the Paralegal Program at PCC. Jessica has experience with intellectual property and assists in this department by whatever means necessary including managing the docketing system and keeping track of the firm’s filing system. She also assists Shelly, the Office Manager with various tasks, and works with the paralegals and attorneys on whatever project or task needed. Her skills in these areas have been a great asset to the daily running of the firm. When Jessica is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband restoring classic muscle cars, attending car shows together, camping and photography.

Caitlin Lewis
Paralegal
Caitlin joined Slinde Nelson in 2019 as a paralegal with nine years of experience in business litigation. She has experience with trial preparation in Oregon and California and worked as the primary discovery paralegal at another firm for many years. She assists our business litigation team and is the personal administrative assistant to partner Phil Nelson. Caitlin loves delving into case records and spotting typos. She has an optimistic attitude and sunny disposition. Outside of the office, Caitlin loves to go hiking in the forest with her dog and boyfriend and finding wild Chanterelle mushrooms when they are in season. She also loves cooking, road trips, and curling up with a good book.

Natalie Scribner
Paralegal
Natalie joined our team in 2019 bringing with her over 22 years’ experience in civil litigation ranging from complex commercial litigation, medical malpractice, class action lawsuits, personal injury and insurance matters. Her work has taken her from Montana, to Washington, overseas to Guam for the Attorney General’s Office, California and Oregon. She assists our firm’s civil litigation attorneys and embraces all new challenges. In her free time, Natalie enjoys attending concerts, dancing, spending time with her friends and family and is an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Kristy Dollowitch
Project Assistant
Kristy joined Slinde Nelson in 2019 eager to start her legal career. She is invaluable assisting the staff with tasks necessary to help keep the firm running smoothly. Kristy graduated from the Paralegal Program at Portland Community College with a focus award in technology and she previously interned at a Personal Injury law firm. In her spare time she enjoys arts and crafts, working out, exploring the outdoors, dancing and spending time with her husband.
